DESCRIPTION:Visit Rugby’s shops to see crafts\, artworks and much more. Two days\, Nov. 27 & 28\, from 10-5 Eastern. The Rugby Commissary\, the Visitor Centre & more will all be open with unique wares. Craft demonstrations and vendors will be present. The Rugby Printing Shop will offer free tours & demonstrations. A food truck on site will provide treats. R.M. Brooks Store will serve breakfast & lunch just 1.5 miles to the west. For questions\, please call 423-628-2441 Ext. 1 Wednesdays through Sundays. \nFree admission to the Marketplace (historic building tours are available with a modest fee). No prior reservations are needed. \nA Holiday Tea will be held Saturday Nov. 28 only\, 1-3 p.m. Eastern time. DESCRIPTION:On the first two Saturdays in December\, the historic settlement of Rugby\, Tennessee\, will come alive with Christmas spirit and celebrate the holidays as if it were still 1880\, the year the town was settled. \nThe living Victorian-era village will bustle with caroling\, holiday shopping and much more. Highlights of the Victorian Christmas celebration include holiday music\, hot drinks and cookies in the decorated historic buildings\, tours of select private homes\, a visit from Father Christmas\, and the sounds of carolers performing throughout the village. Look for performances by the Rugby Cornet Band! A Christmas Tree Lighting is also held at 5:30 p.m. Eastern at the gazebo. \nChristmas at Rugby tour ticket information & online purchase will be posted here closer to the date. (This Dec. 5 date will not include a dinner option\, but the Dec. 12 event will.) \n In addition\, Christ Church Episcopal will present a seasonal worship service of Lessons & Carols at with an emphasis on music both Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. EST (3:30 Central) in the 1887 church. \nEvent festivities run from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Eastern.
