Hike with State Natural Areas’ Jason Miller

A FREE “Walk-it-Off” hike helps excuse any Thanksgiving excess so join guide Jason Miller, program administrator for Tennessee State Natural Areas, in this relaxing trek through the Rugby State Natural Area. These moderate hikes range from 1.5 to 3 miles long. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and snacks, and watch the forecast — even as Rugby doesn’t always conform to it. No registration needed. Just meet at the Historic Rugby Visitor Centre at 10 a.m. Eastern/9 Central.

Also bring a hiking stick if you like, and dress appropriately for the weather including boots for possible muddy conditions. It’s always fun!
