Chili Cook-Off & Auction, Taste or Enter, Jan. 13

Rugby’s Second Annual Chili Cook-Off seeks tasters to vote on their favorites, and 20 entrants to bring a crock pot with your unique take on this tasty winter dish! As an added bonus, there’s a Silent Auction for some nifty treasures, so bring your checkbook! Weather won’t affect this indoor event, so it will go on unless snow/ice makes roads dangerous.
Come cast your vote for the best chili. Twenty will battle for that honor. If you would like to enter your chili in the competition ($10), see the details and fill out the entry form HERE. Entries are due for delivery at the site at 4:15 p.m. EST.
Taster Tickets are $15 in advance and may be purchased HERE now, but $20 at the door. Kid tasters under age 10 are free.
Online ticket sales close 24 hours prior to the event.
Each taster will receive 15 tickets (votes) to correspond to the $15 admission fee. Extra tickets (votes) are available for purchase or simply adding cash in the voting boxes on each table.
Voting for the chili cook-off and silent auction will promptly end at 6:30 pm EST and winners will be announced at 6:45 pm EST.
Your ticket purchase helps non-profit Historic Rugby continue the mission to protect and preserve this village and share the stories of people who established Rugby 143 years ago this past October.
