Founder’s Day

On Founder’s Day we honor Rugby, TN, founder Thomas Hughes (1822-1897) but also award someone else from recent history instrumental in propelling Historic Rugby and Hughes’ now-renowned village into the present and future. There will be artists and crafters on site at the Visitor Centre, food trucks on site, and other features, including a likely performance at by the Rugby Cornet Band. Bring the whole family for a day of wholesome fun and history extending back 146 years! FREE. Lodging is available at historicrugby.org under the “Lodging” tab.
