2025 marks the sixth annual “Grill Rugby: Cooking Demonstration and Dinner on the Lawn.” This evening of food and festivities on the lawn at picturesque Uffington House in Rugby is scheduled for two nights only, August 30 & 31, on the long Labor Day weekend. Dress cool & casual as you like if that appeals!
Grill Rugby features an all-inclusive fixed dinner menu developed by Master Griller Steve Smart of Chattanooga. Appetizers, sides, and desserts will round out the menu. The event also includes specialty cocktails and a silent auction for unusual items. Dinner is scheduled from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. (EDT) but plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start time if possible. Proceeds benefit Historic Rugby. This fundraising dinner event is organized and implemented entirely by volunteers and all expenses are covered by ticket sales, sponsors and in-kind donor gifts.
