2025 marks the sixth annual “Grill Rugby: Dinner on the Lawn.” This evening of food and festivities on the lawn at picturesque Uffington House in Rugby is scheduled for two nights only, August 30 & 31, on the long Labor Day weekend. Dress cool & casual as you like if that appeals!
It features an all-inclusive prix fixe dinner, this year with a South American and Appalachia fusion provided on different nights by locals Dustin Kennedy (Saturday) and Mimi Solorzano-Vessey (Sunday), rounded out with appetizers, sides, and desserts. Specialty cocktails and site-brewed beer will also feature. A silent auction for fascinating and unusual items will begin online August 18 [it is HERE] and culminate at the event, with a few other exceptional items available only only in person at the event. Dinner is scheduled 5-8 p.m. (EDT). Proceeds from Grill Rugby, organized and implemented entirely by volunteers, will benefit operations of non-profit Historic Rugby. All costs for event are covered by ticket sales, sponsors, and in-kind donations.

Sunday Menu — Appetizers: Mini Empanadas-Beef, Chicken, Cheese; Vegetable Platter & Dip; Mini Chimichangas with Guacamole and Salsa; Green Salad; Meats: Grilled Beef Skewers, Chicken Milanesa with Salsa Criolla; Sides: Potato, Rice, Vegetable; Dessert: Chocotorta and more!
BOTH NIGHTS: Specialty cocktail, beer, water and soft drinks provided; bring your own additional adult beverage if desired.
