Trail Maintenance: Natl. Public Lands Day

Join Rugby State Natural Area volunteers in helping with vegetation maintenance and removal of invasive plants along one of Rugby’s paved walkway sections between Uffington House and the road to Laurel Dale Cemetery. This requires little or no hiking to reach the site, and unwanted plants & shrubs can be reached from two sides. Volunteers are invited for this National Public Lands Day activity! Wear sturdy shoes and bring garden gloves, your favorite clippers & bug spray. Friends of the RSNA and all others who use our walkway (such as for Irish Road Bowling every month) will thank you! NO REGISTRATION required, just meet at 10 a.m. Eastern at the Historic Rugby Visitor Centre.
